Mets make roster moves.

FLUSHING, N.Y., June 5, 2018 – The New York Mets today announced that they have returned infielder Todd Frazier and righthanded pitcher Anthony Swarzak from their rehabilitation assignments and reinstated them from the Disabled List. Both will be active for tonight’s series opener with Baltimore. Additionally, righthanded pitcher Gerson Bautista has been optioned to Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and lefthanded pitcher Buddy Baumann has been designated for assignment. 

Frazier appeared in three rehabilitation games with Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and went 4-9 (.444) with three RBI, two walks and two runs scored. He had been on the Disabled List since May 8 with a left hamstring strain.

Swarzak also appeared in three rehabilitation games with the 51s. He allowed three runs, earned, on four hits in 2.2 innings over the three appearances with three strikeouts and two walks. Swarzak had been on the Disabled List since April 1 with a strained left oblique.

Bautista was 0-1 with a 12.46 ERA (six earned runs/4.1 innings) in five appearances for the Mets.

Baumann went 0-2 with a 27.00 ERA (10 earned runs/3.1 innings) in four appearances this season between the Mets and Padres.
