Ricco was was asked about Tim Tebow and if he’s Queens bound.

“The thing with him all along was going to be Father Time, and whether he has a long enough window in order to make this happen, but he’s trending in the right direction,” Ricco said before the Mets’ 5-1 victory over the Rays Friday night at Citi Field. “Every month it seems he gets better and better, and I know he made the All-Star team, and I know that that’s exciting. At Double-A, he’s more than holding his own.
“I think it’s a great story … and we’ll see where it goes.”

MG- Anyone else think this is just the start of the groundwork of Tebow ending up in Flushing? I have a feeling if the Mets do a big sell off this season, Tebow will end up here.
