ROSTER NOTES: Prior to tonight's game, the Mets are expected to recalled outfielder
Brandon Nimmo from his rehabilitation assignment and activate him from the Injured
List...Nimmo has been on the IL since May 21...Nimmo was the DH for Syracuse
yesterday and went 0-3 with a walk and stolen base...He hit .229 (8-35) with a homer
and five RBI in 10 rehab games...He will wear #9...The Mets also plan on recalling RHP
Tyler Bashlor and LHP Daniel Zamora...Bashlor is 0-3 with a 7.26 ERA in 18 games with
the Mets...He will wear #49...Zamora has a 5.68 ERA in 12 games with New York this
season...He will wear #73...New York is expected to select the contract of infielder Sam
Haggerty...He hit .271 with 15 doubles, six triples, three homers, 26 RBI, .376 OBP and
23 stolen bases in 86 minor league games with Brooklyn (A), Binghamton (AA) and
Syracuse (AAA)...He will wear #19.
