I still don’t get why the Mets can’t or don’t want to raise statues for a few of the Mets greats. I know folks will say it’s because the Wilpons are cheap(good possibility), the Mets will say but we have the Mets HOF. That’s great but is that outside the ballpark welcoming you into the stadium? Nope. Not at all. We have two Baseball Hall of Fame players that mean a ton to the team. I would have Seaver and Piazza Statues together im a "mound visit moment". It’s a no brainer. Come on Mets!
I’m really getting tired going to all these other ballparks and seeing the teams actually respect and love their former players and history.The Mets don’t look past yesterday.
