FUTURES GAME: First baseman Peter Alonso and shortstop Andres Gimenez will represent the Mets at the 2018 SiriusXM Futures Game today at Nationals Park at 4 p.m....Alonso, 23, will play for Team USA...He is hitting a combined .280 (85-304) with 16 doubles, 21 homers, 75 RBI and a .410 OBP in 88 games between Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League and Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League this year...Gimenez, 19, will play for the World Team...He is batting .278 (82-295) with 18 doubles, four triples, six homers, 29 RBI and a .344 OBP in 82 games with St. Lucie (A) of the Florida State League this season.
ALL-STAR: Jacob deGrom was named to the NL All-Star team... HONORING RUSTY STAUB: Mets Hall of Famer Rusty Staub passed away on March 29 at age 73... The Mets will wear a patch on the right sleeve on their home and away uniforms during the 2018 season honoring Staub...A six-time All-Star, he had 2,716 hits and 292 homers during his 23-year career.

COREY OSWALT: Pitched a career-high 6.0 innings in his last start on July 9 vs. the Phillies (second game of doubleheader) and struck out a career-best seven...Oswalt became the first Mets pitcher in franchise history to throw at least 6.0 innings and allow no more than one hit in a start that came within his first four career games.
BULLPEN: Mets relievers have allowed four runs in their last 22.2 innings (1.59 ERA)...The pen has 19 wins, tied for the 11th- most in the majors...Overall, the pen ranks 25th in the majors with a 4.65 ERA.
JEURYS FAMILIA: Notched his 17th save of the year yesterday, Hes tied for ninth in the NL in saves...Familia has tossed 7.0 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit in July...He's unscored upon in 10 of his last 11 outings.
