FLUSHING, N.Y., July 6, 2021 – The New York Mets have announced that tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers has been postponed due to inclement weather. The teams will play a makeup game tomorrow, Wednesday, July 7, as part of a split-admission doubleheader. Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow, game one is scheduled to begin at 2:10 p.m., followed by the nightcap at 7:10 p.m. Each game will be a seven-inning contest. Citi Field parking lots will open at 12:10 p.m. and gates for game one will open at 1:10 p.m. Gates for game two will not open before 6:10 p.m.

Digital tickets from Tuesday, July 6 have been updated to now read “Wednesday, July 7, 2021 – Game 39” and will be valid for admission to game one of tomorrow’s doubleheader at 2:10 p.m. Physical tickets marked “Tuesday, July 6, 2021 – Game 39” will also be accepted.

Fans holding a paid ticket for tonight’s game marked “Wednesday, July 7, 2021 – Game 39” who do not wish to use their ticket to attend game one of tomorrow’s doubleheader at 2:10 p.m. may choose one of the following two options:

Exchange it for a ticket comparable in price and location to another Mets 2021 regular season home game at Citi Field (including game two of the July 7 doubleheader, but excluding the September 10-12 Subway Series vs. Yankees) subject to availability; or

Exchange it for a ticket of a different price or location to another Mets 2021 regular season home game at Citi Field (including game two of the July 7 doubleheader, but excluding September 10-12 Subway Series vs. Yankees), subject to availability. If such an exchange is made for a higher priced ticket, the face value of the paid ticket for tonight’s game will be applied as a credit toward the price of the higher priced ticket.

Rain checks will be moved to the bottom of your Ticket Wallet in the MLB Ballpark app and be displayed as “Postponed Games 7/6 Brewers @Mets” tile at the conclusion of the 2:10 game.

Original parking receipts for the Tuesday, July 6, 2021 game will be honored for any Mets game during the remainder of the 2021 regular season. Prepaid parking passes can be exchanged via fans’ “My Mets Tickets Account” for any remaining 2021 regular season home game. No refunds are available for the initial parking entry.
