Philadelphia Phillies (12-11) vs. New York Mets (13-10)




Mets: Improved to 2-0 this homestand and 4-3 at Citi Field this year...Are 3-2 against Philadelphia this season.
- The Mets are now in sole possession of first place in the NL East...New York improved to 11-7 against the NL East this season. - Have won back-to-back games after losing two consecutive contests.
- Earned their third series win of the season.

Shutout: The Mets earned their second shutout of the year, also Opening Day, March 28 in Washington (2-0)...Notched their first shutout over the Phillies since July 11, 2018 in a 3-0 win at Citi Field.

Extra-Base Hits By A Pitcher: Recorded two extra-base hits in the game...Marked the 11th time in franchise history that a pitcher collected two or more extra-base hits in a game...Last time was May 11, 2016 when Noah Syndergaard hit two home runs at Dodger Stadium...It is only the third time it has happened during a home game, also by Sid Fernandez on July 11, 1986 vs. Atlanta (two doubles) and by Gerry Arrigo in game one of a doubleheader on July 17, 1966 vs. Houston (two doubles).
