I first want to thank Mulcahy's for being our location this year. Knowing that they are Mets fans helps make the move from Astoria way easier.
Let me see if I can answer some questions ahead of time.
Why the move?
Even though Katch was great last year, the QBC has grown way too big for the event to be held there. We had 500 folks plus vendors, panelists, guests, and staff all jammed in there. We needed a bigger space and we searched for months and months. Mulcahy's came through for us. We can have a 1000 plus folks there and we are making sure there is more than enough room for to be comfortable. We have a stage, sight lines are great from everywhere in the place for the panels. So all in all Mulcahy's is a great upgrade.
But how can it be the Queens Baseball Convention if it isn't in Queens?
Come on guys, we know that the con is about our fav team in Queens and not about the location of the con.
Is there parking?
There is a ton of free parking around Mulcahy's. LIRR parking lots are in abundance and there is also street parking..
What about public transportation?
Mulcahy's is right across from the LIRR station. I am not killing it legit is right across the street.
Who are the guests going to be?
