Due to the cancelled QBC(thanks blizzard) we never got to present Buddy with his deserved award. Dan Twohig as the representative of the Queens Baseball Convention will do just that today! In between the games of the double header today (at the Long Island Ducks) Dan will present Buddy Harrelson the Gil Hodges Unforgettable Fire Award. Buddy is the third recipient of this award. In 2014 it was accepted by Gil Hodges Jr. on behalf of his dad who the award is named for. Ed Charles received the award in 2015. Now we are very happy to bestow this award on Buddy.
