San Diego Recap

First of all, I am shot. Got into San Diego on Thursday morning and did some sight seeing. Walked along by the water, checked out some of the old ships, walked through Little Italy and had some Mexican food. I was really loving the weather and the feel of the city.

At the last minute decided to go to the game Thursday night, went with some friends and future Mrs. Goon and www wowed by Petco Park. The park itself was awesome. Tons of craft beer vendors, wide variety of food(this trip might have put a dent in my diet, but it's worth it), didn't feel like there was a bad view in the house also. Park in the Park is located in the park and it's a public park that is open up until a few hours before game time and then they clear out the public and close it off unless you have a ticket to the game. The Tony Gwynn statue is in the park and there is also a small grass wiffle ball field there.

Friday went to the San Diego zoo. It was awesome. Well except at first there was a ton of rain(which never happens in SD). Not a lot of souls ventured out until later in the day when it got sunny but we had a blast.

Friday night went to see Jim Breuer and he did 15-20 mins on the Mets and Cespedes. Funny stuff.

Saturday went to go see the seals in La Jolla. That was an experience. If you get a chance, hit up there

We also did a ballpark tour Saturday. If you guys get a chance to do one, do it.

And then later in the day went to McFaddens SD to meet up with the rest of the 7line army.

The crowd walking to the stadium was amazing. Close to 1400 fans walking to the game. Sea of blue and orange.

Game was electric Bart hitting his first HR, Amped up everyone. Cespedes, and Wright with dingers also....

I had a great time this weekend. Check this town out whenever you can folks....
