Where are the Mets Fans?

Went to the Mets game last night and the crowd reminded me of some of the previous seasons under Wilpon ownership. The crowd was sparse, food and merchandise kiosks were closed, and even the 7line section which is where I sit wasn’t even full. It was a perfect night for baseball weather wise and I enjoyed being there last night even though the Mets lost. You could also get tickets pretty cheap on the various ticket sites also.

I wonder how the Bartolo Colón retirement ceremony is going to look crowd wise today. We had a good turn out for him at the last QBC and he is someone that the fans enjoy seeing. Remember it’s not a number retiring ceremony but just Bartolo officially retiring.

I get really annoyed when the Mets get hot and are a winning team and fake fans show up. I do know yesterday was a religious holiday for some folks ans I get baseball won’t be as important as commitments for that but where are all the other supposed fans?

Keep your eyes here tomorrow for the second guest announcement for the QBC 2023. The QBC has already announced that we have Terry Collins coming to the QBC on Saturday December 2nd at the Four Points by Sheraton Flushing. Tickets will be going on Sale in October.
