FLUSHING, N.Y., September 1, 2023 – The New York Mets have been named the winner in the 2023 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice travel award contest for Best Stadium Food. Citi Field’s nomination was chosen by a panel of relevant experts, which includes a combination of editors from USA TODAY, editors from 10Best.com, relevant expert contributors, and sources for both these media and other Gannett properties before being voted on by the public online.

“We are thrilled to be voted the winner of the Best Stadium Food award by our fans,” Mets Vice President of Hospitality Taryn Donovan said. “Citi Field has maintained its reputation as one of the top culinary destinations in sports and entertainment since it opened in 2009 and continues to evolve to provide Mets fans with an experience like no other.”

Citi Field continues to offer top tier dining options, bringing fans delicious and exciting new local NYC options each season. Overseeing the culinary operations at Citi Field is Aramark Senior Executive Chef Jason Eksterowicz, who joined the team in the winter of 2017.

Citi Field is also home to exclusives such as the Classic New York Deli Pastrami Sandwich, Amazin’ Chicken Co. and Metropolitan Fry Factory.
