Mets can have around 8000 fans in the stands. However....



Finally an answer to how many folks can come into a ballgame for now. Hope you were vaccinated already though.

“We’re going to play ball, and we’re going to play ball with a crowd,” Cuomo said as he unveiled the latest rollback of COVID restrictions.

Professional sports in large outdoor stadiums can reopen at 20% capacity beginning April 1, meaning around 8,000 fans can attend Mets home games in Queens while about 10,000 can cheer on the Yankees in the Bronx. “We’re going to play ball, and we’re going to play ball with a crowd,” Cuomo said as he unveiled the latest rollback of COVID restrictions.
