FLUSHING, N.Y., May 20, 2025 – The New York Mets will host Military Appreciation Day to honor active service members, veterans and military families at Citi Field on Monday, May 26 when they take on the Chicago White Sox at 4:10 p.m.

The Mets will host a pre-game party at the K Korner beginning at 2:00 p.m. featuring a DJ, Mr. and Mrs. Met, games, and other activations. The first 15,000 fans through the gates will receive a Sean Manaea Camo Jersey presented by Tunnel to Towers. Gates will open at 2:10 p.m. for season ticket members and at 2:40 p.m. for all fans.

Captain “Sully” Sullenberger, who piloted the “Miracle on the Hudson” passenger plane, will throw out the first pitch. The Mets will honor Francisco Adames as Veteran of the Game. Adames, who is the Mets travel security professional, is a Marine Corps combat veteran and a retired NYPD Detective. God Bless America will be performed in the seventh inning by Gunnery Sergeant Alison Bardeguez.
