I want to preface this with no, I am not asking this because we cancelled the QBC. I am asking this because there hasn't been an iota of noise about the Mets Fan Fest at all since they announced it and started selling tickets for it. If you were doing something for the first time, wouldn't you be trying to pump it up? Sure it sold out, but you still want to make this feel like something special. I have heard nothing but crickets. Even from folks that hear things that I hear things from, it has been super quiet. Have you guys heard anything?
I have been thinking about the QBC more and more this week. Usually at about this time my brain is swamped with stuff leading up to the weekend. I don't know what to do with myself this week. I am really bummed that we all can't hang out together at Mulcahy's this weekend and talk Mets.
I hope all my fellow fans have a good time at the Fan Fest and I hope the Mets pull this off so everyone has a good fun experience.
