MEDICAL UPDATE ON JUAN LAGARES
Mets outfielder Juan Lagares was examined at the Hospital for Special Surgery today and tests revealed that he has a partial tear of a ligament in his left thumb. He will not be placed on the Disabled List and is headed back to Pittsburgh.
