This is a game used bat to former New York Mets pitcher David Cone. Cone was a 5x All-Star, 1994 AL Cy Young Winner, 5x World Series Champion, led the MLB in wins in 1998, 2x MLB Strikeout King, and pitched a perfect game. The bat shows minimal use with light marks. Cone's number 44 is written on both ends on the bat. The bat has "470B 077 8" stamped on the knob, dating the knob to 1988. In 1988, Cone went 20-3 with a 2.22 ERA and 213 strikeouts. He would finish 3rd in the Cy Young voting and 10th in the MVP voting. Cone has played for the Kansas City Royals, New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, and Boston Red Sox.
