Dear Mets Fans,
Due to the strike of the Long Island Rail Road that went into effect on Saturday, May 16, fans will experience disruptions in travel to and from Citi Field for the Mets vs. Yankees games on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17. We strongly recommend all fans plan accordingly prior to traveling to Citi Field.
As a reminder, the Mets offer several alternative transportation options to Citi Field, with more ways than ever to get to the ballpark.
Please review the transportation options below based on your location. Fans are also encouraged to visit Mets.com/Transportation and MLB Ballpark app for the latest transportation information and to curate a personalized travel plan to Citi Field. Additionally, fans who elect to use rideshare services for their return trip can enter code LYFTMETS2026 in the Lyft app for $10 off their ride.
