Exciting News for QBC 2025: Jesse Orosco Joins the Lineup!
We're thrilled to announce that legendary New York Mets pitcher Jesse Orosco will be attending the Queens Baseball Convention (QBC) on Saturday, December 13th, 2025! Orosco, a key figure in Mets history, will participate in a special panel with Q&A, sharing insights from his illustrious career, followed by an autograph session where fans can meet the icon up close.During his time with the Mets from 1979 to 1987, Orosco was a dominant left-handed reliever, earning two All-Star selections and playing a pivotal role in the team's 1986 World Series championship. Who can forget his unforgettable celebration on the mound after striking out Marty Barrett to seal the Mets' Game 7 victory over the Boston Red Sox? Orosco's clutch performances and fiery competitiveness made him a fan favorite and a cornerstone of that unforgettable era in Mets lore.
NY1's Roger Clark who kills it year after year as a panel host is returning to interview Jesse!
This year, we're mixing things up at QBC to bring even more variety and excitement! In addition to welcoming back panel guests from previous years, we're thrilled to feature Jesse Orosco as our 1986 Mets representative. We'll also spotlight talent from the 2000s Mets squads and include a current player from the team—stay tuned for those announcements! A huge shoutout to our working relationship with Dom from Coach's Collectibles, which has made it possible to shake up the lineup and deliver this fresh mix of Mets generations.
And that's not all—QBC 2025 is packed with can't-miss events:
