What the hell is this Mets Hat?

Today, Bobby is back to work, this time as the Host of a stay at Citi Field like never before, available on Airbnb. Bobby and the Mets are inviting four lucky Mets fans to experience a night at the ballpark that will leave them with that bottom of the 9th, walk-off homerun feeling.

 

“As a born and raised New Yorker and a longtime player in the city, there is a special place in my heart for Mets fans and it’s wonderful to see the faithful back in some green seats in Queens,” Bobby said. “This year, I’m joining in on the fun, trying on a new glove as an Airbnb Host and hopefully giving a few folks the night of their lives at Citi Field.”

 

The team has curated a major league-quality experience for guests at Citi Field that will have them yelling “Let’s play two!”

 

That’s right, guests will be able to watch both a day and a night game, while belting out Take Me Out to the Ball Gamefrom their own VIP suite and enjoying limitless ballpark hotdogs and drinks. And there are more than a few extra innings to this experience.

I’m very happily retired, but once a Met, always a Met. So, I’m winding up and pitching in to help four lucky guests make Citi Field home for a night. And since we only go big in the Big Apple, we’re treating these fans to the ultimate doubleheader: VIP seats to not one, but two home games.

Booking opens at 12pm EST on July 8 for a stay on July 28.

We’re rolling out the orange and blue carpet for you for an overnight at Citi Field like never before!

You’ll get to sleep in your own suite overlooking the Jackie Robinson Rotunda, with views of the original Homerun Apple and Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. It’s one of the best spots in the house, not only because it overlooks all of the Game Day action, but also because it’s chock full of memorabilia that will get any fan jumpin' in their seats. It’s the perfect private dugout to settle in and get ready to root for the home team during our two back-to-back games against the Atlanta Braves.

You didn’t think that was it, did you? You’re a VIP, man!
