Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to own a piece of Citi Field! MLB Authenticated Citi Field seats are now available for purchase and are the perfect addition to any memorabilia collection. Each listing includes two seats that require assembly. Seats are sold solely for sports memorabilia display purposes. Limited quantities available.
Now this leads to the speculation that the Mets might be changing the seat colors to fit more along the lines of what Shea Stadium had with Orange, Blue, Red, and Green seats. Do I see that happening? Nope. It's easier to hide empty seats with darker green colors than with bright orange and blue colors. I think it's been almost 20 yrs since the ballpark opened and seats need to be refreshed. There were a lot of broken seats, worn out looking seats and plenty of uncomfortable seats around the park. I wouldn't be surprised if the new seats were branded Metropolitan Park.
