What's Happening with Harvey?

Who thinks it's mental and not mechanical for Harvey? He was "the" guy for a hot minute before Tommy John surgery and the emergence of the other Mets pitchers?

Going from the Marquee guy to the number three "star"ter might be in his head. This guy craves attention whether it's on the mound or off. Maybe this is all just in his head?

Bowling For Charity 4/24/2016

This Sunday in White Plains....

Hey guys. Dennis aka DHAP aka Dennis has a podcast aka Big Show lookalike and I are assembling teams to bowl for a good cause. It's to help raise money for research for Huntington's disease.

We will crown either Team DHAP or Team Mediagoon with this.

If anyone wants to come and hang and not bowl and just support the cause you can come join us. It's $25 a head for a non bowler and it includes refreshments and a meet and greet with a NY Rangers Former Player.

If you want to bowl it's $50 a head and you also get what the non bowler gets.

So if you want to just watch Team Mediagoon beat team DHAP or want to bowl in another lane for fun, please come and help us raise some bucks.

Battle of the Jerseys:1986

Went into my collection and brought out a 1986 throwback jersey that majestic made a few years back. No nameplate on it but sure looks good without the diaper. The Wright one is an "authentic" style that saw the field in 2006.

Stay Classy Philly

Nope. This wasn't about the Mets/Phillies game. It was the Flyers/Capitals.

Philly fans are some of the worst fans in sports but I feel the downward spiral with fans at a lot of cities. The violence at Dodgers games, the cursing and yelling at kids at ballparks I've visited over the years and also some of the stuff I've seen by drunk fans at Rangers and Mets games really anger and make me sad at the same time. One of the things that really annoys me is during the National Anthem at Rangers games some idiot always yells Let's Go Rangers during it.

But anyway look what happened at the hockey game down in Philly last night. Just disrespectful.

How did fans become so classless? How has fandom devolved from rooting for your team to just being a total ahole? Is it the betting on sports? Too much alcohol? Or is it something deeper in our society that is going on?
