Royal Rumble

Randy Orton. Who would have thought that the whiny 3rd gen wrestler would become anything worthwhile. I figured he would always be a low level main event guy in the wwe...maybe even a high mid carder but this year he has brought it. He has been getting better on the mic, better in the ring and could help the wwe youth movement take over. Orton deserved to win the Rumble. Sets him up perfectly for the big stage of wrestlemania 25. Sure he has no catch phrases like austin or the rock had but oh well what can you do?

Who saw the swerve on jeff hardy and matt hardy coming? I didn't. Every fan expected Christian to re debut with the company. But he didn't and jeff got taken out by his own brother.

Disaster Movie

What a disaster of a movie. Why can they make funny movies like airplane anymore. They try so hard but the writers just don't get it. They  go with the same old tire jokes. Its ridiculous that they keep putting out the same crap over and over. I hate you sometimes hollywood I really do.  You guys could've done a great  job on making fun of all these disaster movies over the years. Twister, Dante's Peak, The Perfect Storm, Posieden Adventure, Armegeddon, hell even Cloverfield would have worked....George Lucas' virus grows in hollywood.

HD CABLE

How come to watch channels in HD on Time Warner Cable you have to watch channels 700 and up? why aren't all HD channels just on regular line up

Black Lanterns

First DC had the Green Lanterns, then came the Yellow Lanterns, after that Red Lanterns, out of nowhere came the Blue Lanterns.  Now we have the Black Lanterns. The Black Lanterns are dead heros or villains from the DC Universe. Two major players in that line are Martian Manhunter and the Earth 2 Superman. SO DCU has zombies hmmmm

Day 2 of History being made.

Did Obama change water to wine yet? walk on water? feed the inaugural ball with one fish that became many? Pull the sword out of the stone? Raised lazurus?

Just checking if any of that happened yet.

The Wrestler

I finally saw The Wrestler. I thought it was great. I am a big time wrestling fan and it was great to see the behind the scenes of an indy circuit. I have seen it first hand from going to shows over the years. Most times you only see the glitz and glamor of the big WWE show and none of the way up or down when your run is over. What does an independent contractor do when he has no health benefits no 401k and is barely making ends meet? It makes you really think about how fake wrestling is.

Galactica

Ok. Watched the 1st episode of galactica for this season. Couple of questions. 

1) if the cylons were the 13th tribe were they really created by the capricans?

2) were the cylons holding a grudge from earth 2000 yrs before thats why they attacked caprica?

3)if the cylons were on earth and could travel through space...how come we dont know about it now....wait i hear something....is that hendrixxxx..........

HOLY SH#T!!!

What kind of guy is the pilot of the plane that emergency landed in the hudson. Not a cessna, or a lear jet, but an airbus. 1 person with  broken legs, 155 people alive. This guys is amazing. To land in the hudson with no casualties.... WOW.

Ghosthunters International

This is the show I get behind the most. They go to real old castles and caverns and catacombs. What about the old satanic church they visited. I don't know why, but maybe it is because of the many 1000's of years of history and bloodbaths around the world that interests me. Or maybe its just the history lessons from around the world.

DC/Warner Bros. Puts movies on hold.

Since The Dark Knight did so well, DC is looking to make all its movies more realistic and grittier according to reports on various websites. OK, I can understand certain movies should be gritty. Like the proposed SuperMax (with a Green Arrow sans trick arrows) should be gritty. But why would they shelve that when David Goyer wrote the screenplay for it? HMM I guess the track record of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight both written and co written by Goyer isn't good enough to save that project.  The reason the last Superman movie didn't work was because it was boring and badly cast. Kevin Spacey was the only saving grace of that movie. How about making a movie that isn't 2 and a half hours long with the same villain in from the previous four Supes movies? Can we please see Supes use his powers full out on somebody. Maybe Doomsday? Darksied? Braniac, Metallo? Ille even take gorilla grod at this point.  You do not need to have gritty movies for all characters DC. Just well thought out movies.

I always like this show. For some reason the TAPS crew always seemed the most real and down to earth of any reality show I have seen.The way there try to prove the stuff doesn't exist is so much better then trying to prove things do exist in the supernatural/paranormal world.

Paranormal State

Everything about that show just irks me. The overdone production values... the voiceover from the founder of the group. They have never proven or disproven anything paranormal. And the "medium" chip...he is sooo full of it ...the show just angers me.

Finally!!!!! One of my all time favorite comedies on tv is back on the air tonight. SCRUBS thats right SCRUBS. This show is just so consistently funny that I get sucked into watching the comedy central mini marathons on Comedy Central. So Courtney Cox is playing Dr Cox's boss...hmmm..

Yes youtube has some bright shiny stars of it. And it also has the people on it that are so bad the videos are awesome. But then you have the middle of the road just totally lame people that should not at all even own a video camera much less know how to post on youtube. This is where I wish video cameras were still too expensive to own. They really do hurt my head badly...

Best Buy Online

I ordered 2 blu ray discs to pick up at the best buy store near me. I get  the confirmation that my orders ready. So I go down there with the email in my hand and wait online for 30 mins at customer service to pick it up. I thought ordering on line and picking up at the store was supposed to make life easier....Guess not..Get up to the counter and then get the rudest "customer service" rep ever. I hand her the email she walks to the back and comes out with one disc...I ask where is the other one...oh its not here.. So why did i get the email that my order was ready?  It says at the bottom that just one disc is ready. So if one disk is ready why would I get the email that my order is ready because it isn't. Well this is ready. So I waited for 30 mins for half my order when if they told me the other one was out of stock I would have cancelled the order. So I cancelled the order completely and I am just aggravated. Why will I order to pick up online then if i can just walk into the store pick up what I want and walk out in 10 mins.

SHAME ON YOU BEST BUY....Where's arnold diaz when you need him.

NHL on New Years Day

Ok. I thought this was a cool idea at first. Kind of like the whole NFL on Thanksgiving. But I can see it getting old really fast. How many cold weather stadiums can they keep using before they run out? They better not go into any indoor stadiums because the warm weather teams complain. Honestly they shouldn't be that many warm state teams anyway. CONTRACT Bettman. So If we do make this a NHL on NYD annual event we can keep the sport to wear it belongs. Up north. I do not want to see the Panthers playing Tampa Bay @ Green Bay...GOD I can see that happening.

Blu Ray

Bought my 1st blu ray movie the other day. I love the fact the video is so much better but is it really 30 dollars a movie better? Seriously? That irks the hell out of me.
