Mets AJ Ewing had a solid debut

The Mets needed a spark and at least for one game AJ Ewing provided it. Ewing got onto base three times last night going 1 for 2 with a triple, two walks, 2 RBIs, and a stolen base and was the first Met in Mets history to triple as his first hit. Pretty nice start. Who else do the Mets need to put into the lineup to get this team going? On a negative note, Alvarez looks to be hurt again with something going on with his knee. I wonder when he gets the moniker "injury prone".  Maybe its not time to pull the plug on the Mets being on life support?

9 games below .500 & you think there are ppl are ready to pull the Mets off of life support?? Let's get to .500 first & then we can think about making a serious run, for now, let's hope last night is the start of something good & the "Next Man up" mentality works out!!!

I said, not pull the plug with the Mets on life support. That means that they aren't quite dead yet, are they out of a coma yet? Nope. But there is a sign of life.
