Ron Darling having surgery. Taking leave from SNY.

Ron Darling announces yesterday that he is taking a medical leave absence from SNY because he needs surgery to remove a large mass on his lung. That came out of nowhere and is a huge shock. Fans love Ron Darling in the Booth and as a person. We were lucky to have him at the inaugural QBC (Queensland Baseball Convention) and he was a class act that day.
