It really is amazing how the Mets went from years of “there isn’t a problem here with our training/medical staff” to “Yes. There was a problem.” Hopefully this works out. Besides the “High Performance director”, I wonder what the other two positions being filled are.

“Alderson indicated the team will add a “high performance director” at the top of the medical department.
“That will allow us to incorporate more technology related to exertion, recovery and a host of other things that we follow with biometrics,” Alderson said at the general managers’ meetings.”
