2009 GAME USED FIRST BASE

Up for auction is a Game-Used base from the 2009 Inaugural Season at Citi Field. This base was used on July 30, 2009 between the 7th and 9th Innings in a shutout win started by Johann Santana. This particular base was manned by Daniel Murphy when he played first for the Mets (you can look it up on Baseball Reference). The hologram affixed to the bottom can be checked on the MLB authentication site. The base shows signs of wear, such as dirt, cleat marks, and a bit of pealing on the logo.
