The Brodie Van Wagenen era is over. Sandy Alderson who has returned to the Mets under Steve Cohen's new ownership announced the move today. I wonder if BVW still has a spot somewhere in CAA Sports.
Also out are Omar Minaya, Allard Baird, Adam Guttridge and Jared Banner.
“I want to thank Brodie, Allard, Adam and Jared for their contributions over the last two years,” Alderson said in a statement. “I especially want to thank Omar for his long and distinguished service to the Mets in many important capacities.”
I don't think Minaya being shown the door was being talked about anyone. Fans were sure BVW was gone and some even chatted about Minaya becoming GM. I want to see what other house cleaning is going to be done.
