WHAT: The New York Mets will host their 2016 Anthem Search with the winner performing the National Anthem on Tuesday, August 2 during the Subway series. The first 100 contestants to arrive are guaranteed an audition to sing a song of their choice – excluding the National Anthem – a cappella.
WHO: Singers of all ages (18 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian)
Celebrity Judges: Skeery Jones (Z100’s Elvis Duran and the Morning Show radio personality), John Muller (Emmy Award-winning journalist and anchor of the PIX11 News at 5 and 10), and Judy Kuhn (Tony Award nominated singer and actress in the 2015 Tony Award Winner for Best Musical – Fun Home)
WHERE: Press Conference Room, Hodges VIP Entrance – First base side of Citi Field
WHEN: Tuesday, March 22
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Media should arrive between 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
