Crowd noise to be pumped into Citi Field

A huge ballpark sounds weird when there isn't crowd noise in it. I have been at Citi Field during BP and it just feels and sounds "off". This should help it be more "normal" for the players and folks watching tv.

From the NY Post.
In a dress rehearsal for the season, music blared between at-bats and crowd “chatter” could be heard during Wednesday’s intrasquad scrimmage at Citi Field.
And as baserunners sprinted toward home plate, the fake crowd roared.
The Mets are among the teams, according to a club source, planning to employ such noise in their fan-empty ballpark once the regular season begins. The piped-in crowd noise will join the cutouts of fans in the stands that are available for season-ticket holders and others willing to pay a fee for the customized placards.
