QBC 2021: Nick Davis Press Release

QBC 2021 VIP Table package available.

We were just told we have this VIP section we can use.

QBC 2021 Question.

If we were able to offer a special VIP package of reserved seating for four, four Gary Cohen/Ron Darling autograph tickets, four Todd Frazier autograph tickets, inscriptions, you can take photos with you camera/phone with them and jump the line to meet them first, would you want it?

"Sounds good...but let's talk price."

You're right we'd have to give a good price on it. Let's do the Math.

$25 Admission x 4=                      $100
$75 Gary/Ron Combo Auto x4=   $300
$25 Todd Frazier x 4=                   $100
$10 inscriptions x 8=                     $80
$40 inscriptions x4 =                     $160
$25 photo ops x 4=                        $100
$25 Skip the line pass x 4=           $100
                                                    _______
                                           Total =$940

Divide that by four and that is $235 a person.

I think a fair price for all that might be $175 per person for $700 for the table. What do you guys think about that? No?

Okay. I'll make a deal with you. Don't tell Dan that I am doing this but if you buy a whole table, I'll do the package at $500. So if you buy a a full table you can have the whole package for $500.

If you want to buy this as a 2 ticket VIP Package we can do this for $350 for two people.

We aren't going to put this up on Eventbrite so email us if interested.

Email QBC2016@gmail.com to for inquiries or to buy this package.

Please look out for our QBC family members.

One of my closest friends lost his wife on Monday. Jessie is a huge Mets fan, part of the QBC Family and also one of the most kinde people I have ever met. His wife Lucia and their daughters mean everything to him. The love of his life was take from him suddenly and times are going to be difficult for Jessie and his daughters and we wanted to do something to help them out. Jessie and Lucia have always been kind souls and very giving to others in need and it is time I feel to return the favor of their kindness. I can't imagine what is going through Jessie's mind right now.

On October 11th, Lucia Toscano Burke entered the kingdom of heaven.

We started this fundraiser to support Jessie and family in these difficult times.
100% of the proceeds will go to the family for whatever they need.

Thank you for your support and prayers

Director/Producer Nick Davis(Once Upon a Time in Queens) will be at QBC 2021

Yep, I'm breaking some news again before our official QBC release.

You guys liked the Once Upon a Time in Queens documentary, right? Well we have a treat for you. The Director/Producer of it, Nick Davis is coming to QBC 2021 to talk about the doc and its new companion book. This panel is a perfect way to get some behind the scenes looks at the film.

About Nick.

An accomplished writer, director, and producer, Nick Davis got his start in film and television by interning on Ken Burns’ Baseball. His first task was to build a desk. In addition to his work with Burns, which included jobs on Cornerstone and The West, Davis worked for filmmaker David Grubin, co-producing The Language of Life with Bill Moyers for PBS and producing Money and Power: The History of Business for CNBC. Davis also directed the Emmy Award-winning Jack: The Last Kennedy Film in 1993, produced with his father, Peter Davis.

In 1998, Nick wrote and directed 1999, a black comedy feature film starring Jennifer Garner, Dan Futterman, and Amanda Peet, which aired on the Sundance Channel. The film was screened at over 20 film festivals worldwide.

In 2001, he started Nick Davis Productions.  Having seen the movie Young Frankenstein ten times as a child, Nick was thrilled that the company’s first job was producing a Bravo Profile of the actor Gene Wilder. Since then, the company has gone on to produce over 70 hours of television, and over 100 short films for corporations, non-profits, and other organizations.

In 2018, he produced and directed a film for PBS’ American Masters program, Ted Williams: “The Greatest Hitter Who Ever Lived,” narrated by Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning actor Jon Hamm.

Prior to his work in film and television, Nick performed improv comedy in New York City nightclubs and wrote, with Brooks Hansen, the novel Boone, published in 1990 and named one of the notable books of the year by the New York Times.

This should be a fun panel that you don't want to miss.
