I am selling these Mets jerseys on eBay right now.

I always post anything I am selling on my facebook page and twitter pages first. I also toss them up on the QBC FB page a little bit lower of a price because I don't get charged eBay fees there. So if you  want to grab some cool Mets memorabilia you should like the FB Pages and follow my twitter handle for a better deal before I hit eBay with my stuff.

Who is really botching up playing baseball games?

Did you have a little hope left that Billionaires and Millionaires were ready to play ball? Were you holding out the despair that your favorite sport was not going to come back? Who knows if it will happen or not but we are now in in the middle of June, no "spring training", no real plan of getting the game back going, tons of infighting, and the owners not doing right by the players, the players not doing right by the fans, the fans in turn will not support the sport when it eventually comes back. I am just chilling out waiting to see what happens waiting for my favorite sport hockey to come back later this summer.

From the NY POST

It isn’t that the MLBPA was wrong to counter the owners’ 60-game schedule Thursday with one 10 games longer, one that includes a slightly larger piece of the financial pie. In a normal negotiation, in truth, that would simply be a part of the dance: you say 60, we say 70, let’s meet at 64 (or 66; an even number is an imperative) and then, in the words of Rex Ryan, let’s go have a damned snack and we’ll meet you at spring training.

But there is nothing normal about this negotiation, mostly because of the unmitigated and unyielding contempt both sides have for each other, partly because the featured players, Rob Manfred and Tony Clark, have both shown a blind spot for actually remembering what it is they actually say whenever they actually get together to talk.

Except this time, it seemed, the players actually had the people on their side. Not all, no. But baseball’s owners are such a distasteful bunch, and
Manfred, their puppet, is such a ham-handed leader, it was hard to fall in line behind them, either. They cried poverty and, boom: a billion-dollar TV deal appears! They claim to be sportsmen and defenders of a public trust and yet — voila! — some have expressed private hope the season is never played. At best this is always an airline-food-versus-hospital-food debate, but more than ever before it felt like the players had a fair share of public sentiment on their side.

Who cares about the LFGM usage besides @Metspolice and Mushnick?

From the NY POST

For example, the Mets and MLB seem to have no problem with the team’s traditional marketing slogan, “Let’s go Mets!” having added a vulgarity. Now, cued by young Pete Alonso, it’s “LFGM.”

So if he knows the F-word is so vulgar and inappropriate that it must hide behind its initial, why use it? Why not instead lose it?

To emphasize anything, it now seems as if you have to add or throw in the F-word. Those spray-paint-armed “protestors” who desecrated the outside of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, after all, couldn’t stop with “BLM.” They topped it with a large “F–K.”

I guess that word is to prove you really, really mean it or really, really care.

LFGM T-shirts, hoodies, coffee mugs, bumper stickers and even virus masks are now for sale. Reminds me of when the NFL sold framed photos of Marshawn Lynch grabbing his crotch.

Again, it’s not rocket surgery. The Mets, MLB, and Alonso’s and Crow-Armstrong’s agents can’t ask them to cut it out? Or is it protected under the collective bargaining agreement?

Here's the thing with me. I don't really care about the F there are using in LFGM because it is vulgar, I don't like it because it takes away from the LGM. "What about the kids?" Kids? Kids these days can out swear me. That is on the parents for not getting them to stop swearing. People love to complain that is tv shows, movies, video games, sports players when it should be the parents who get to teach their kids manners and what to to not to say. I prefer the streamline LGM and the LFGM feels forced at times. If it is  in the moment of emotion fine, but don't use it as a tagline on everything. What is Mushnick talking about with the LFGM being on merch? I don't thing I have ever seen it on officially licensed merch. It will fade away....

Is there still enough good faith between Major League Baseball Owners and the MLBPA?

Is this going to be the end of baseball if there is no season this year? I really can't get why the players and the owners can be so short sited. The current CBA is over at the end of 2021 and I have a feeling it is going to be really ugly.
Baseball itself is own a downward trend and it isn't getting any better. The youth of today aren't into baseball and if the sport loses the older demographics who is going to pass on the love of the game to future generations. There is
no good faith on either side between the players and the owners. There is going to be even less faith between the fans and baseball.  If there is no season this year and the two sides can't agree on a new CBA for 2022 and beyond
will that be the death knell of baseball? Will the trust between the fans and Major League Baseball be forever broken? I really hope the league doesn't die out. I enjoy going to the games to relax and get away from the  run and
gun of every day life. I like being able to hang out with friends that I don't get to see all the time. I like going away with The 7Line Army to different cities that I have never been to before and probably never would have went
to on my own. I hope this gets sussed out and the future of the sport isn't totally destroyed.
