Want new Sneakers? Buy Mets Tickets.
How stupid is this promo. Spend close to $1600 to get 13 games and just one pair of sneakers per account. Not a pair per seat. No. One for both seats. Oh yeah, you have to buy two seats to get the one pair of sneakers.
Look at those prices for the seats to get one pair of sneakers. Mets as my friend Tezza says GFY.

The season hasn't even started yet and the Mets are slinging deals for tickets. This is one of the reasons besides the way security treated fans last year that I didn't renew my 1/2 season tickets after 11 seasons. Why should I bother? Did I keep my T7LArmy tickets yes. But that's a totally different experience than just sitting over in my old seats. I guess the Mets didn't have a good renewal rate last year.

Stadium renovations on Clover Park only "two-thirds" complete
From CBS 12 News
From last week.
Read more here. The Mets and county officials are hoping to have the upgrades on the 7,100 seat stadium done in time for the Mets' spring training home opener on February 22 and all of the finishing touches, including landscaping, completed by early June."Despite the stadium being two-thirds completed, the Mets are 100% confident the stadium will be ready Monday for pitchers and catchers and Thursday for fans to watch player-workouts," Harold Kauffman VP of Communications for the Mets told CBS 12.“We are going to be 100% open and ready for spring training,” said Paul Taglieri, Mets executive director of minor league facilities.
Who else guessed that the reno wouldn't be done in time? Doesn't surprise me at all. I'll be down there for opening day, so let's see how it all turns out.

Our Mets Fans Family need help raising money for Cycle for Survival
My buddies MJ and her Fiancé Nancy always go the extra mile for everyone. They asked me to donate and I did. I donated to them, Lizy, and Bianca. All part of the7lineArmy and all my family. I am now asking you folks to donate to them and help them raise money this year. I always want thes dumb blog to be used for something useful besides Mets stuff. All four of these ladies are amazing for trying to raise money again this year, so please help out.
Our team has reached $15K in funds raised today but we have a long way to go to $40K. We have 4 bikes this year and some really amazing riders and we all have been touched by cancer in some form, whether family or friend or colleague. I find hope that with organizations like Cycle for Survival, we continue to hear the many stories of those surviving cancer. But, there continue to be too many stories when it is way too aggressive and people lose their battle. This is why we ride. This is why I come to you every year, asking (or maybe it sounds more like begging :) for your donations. Your donations that go to work in 7 months, your donations where every penny goes to work. Where every penny is accountable for fighting cancer.
If you have a few to spare or just want to shut me up from sending another email , please click the link to our team page http://mskcc.convio.net/goto/FightingforFramily pick a team member and make a donation, any amount at all would be appreciated.
Thank you for continually supporting us and our team.
Big Hugs, MJ#EffCancer
