No Statue but 126th is now Tom Seaver Way.

That's great to name a street after Seaver. A street with empty lots and still some chop shops. We have no idea when this will be turned into the renderings we saw when the 126th street project was introduced. Where is the Statue that Francessa said was in the works and happening? Knowing the Mets they probably think this would be good enough.

Thanks AJ for the heads up on this. Other teams have done this  before for their fans who can’t afford season ticket plans. As usual though they do the business thing and wait until almost opening day to release this news. Also, I wonder how this is going to mess with the secondary market tickets...
