Since Opening Day is a few days away, let's get some insights from two of the good folks who work for the Mets.

Seth Lugo makes Mets rotation.

PORT ST. LUCIE — Seth Lugo has spent significant chunks of the past two seasons with the Mets, but breaking camp on a major league roster was still uncharted territory. That was until recent days, when Lugo was informed he was not only on the team, but also in the starting rotation until Jason Vargas returns.
“It’s pretty cool,” Lugo said Sunday. “I am a big leaguer.”
The 28-year-old righty earned his spot, pitching to a 2.87 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in seven appearances this spring, highlighted by Thursday’s outing in which he fired four innings of scoreless relief after Zack Wheeler imploded early against the Nationals.

Seth Lugo #67 - Autographed & Game-Used Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Cap

I bought a few of the MSDS hats off auction from the Mets.

These hats were worn Opening Day by the Mets in honor of the Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas that were involved in that heinous school shooting a few weeks ago. I spent a decent amount of money on them because the proceeds went to charity benefiting those affected by this tragedy. I want to do more.

If I was to do a raffle opening day for a Majory Stoneman Douglas Eagles game Used Seth Lugo and signed hat, with the money raised being donated to the MSDS charity, would you guys enter for it? $10 an entry? Would you guys be in for it? I'll be in the MTA lot hanging with the T7LA so if you want to help raise some money and maybe win this cap, come stop buy. My idea is that you guys bring ~~$10 bill and you write your name and number on it then drop~~ $10 per ticket to get put into raffle bucket. Sometime during the tailgate, when we feel like we raised a good amount of money, we will pull a a random ticket out and see who our lucky winner is. The proceeds will all be donated to charity for the victims and their families of this tragedy.

THE TIME HAS COME!

Get to the ballpark on Thursday 3/29 to hang before heading in for the season kick off against the Cardinals! This will be The 7 Line Army's 80th outing (43-36), and we can't wait to get this year started with a bang.

When last season took a dump, "undefeated at tailgating" was a term that came to life. There's not much we can do about the wins and losses, but we can do something about the fun. And that's what we try to do each and every ballgame. This year we have 12 games on our home schedule and we plan to tailgate before at least each of the weekend ones..

If you're new to the group you're highly encouraged to hit the tailgate party. DIVE RIGHT IN. Introduce yourself and get the camaraderie started before we even get to the seats. If ya missed our Spring Training outing, this will be your first chance to meet the crew, and get the year started on the right foot.

We'll be set up at our normal spot just past the train station boardwalk. The MTA "Southfield Lot" is located on Roosevelt Avenue just next to the steps to the 7 train. Great location and a super convenient walk to the Rotunda gate. Check the below map if you're not in the know.

TIP: SHOW UP EARLY TO GRAB A SPOT. THE LOT SHOULD BE OPEN BY 8AM. SPOTS CAN FILL UP QUICK, ESPECIALLY ON OPENING DAY.

ANOTHER TIP: SIGN UP FOR CLEAR. THAT'S THE FASTEST WAY IN TO THE BALLPARK. IF YOU FLY A LOT, USE THE PROMO CODE 7LINEARMY FOR 3 FREE MONTHS OF THEIR AIRPORT SERVICE.

Our season ticket members will be rocking their 2018 jerseys for the first time. If you're joining us just for the day, you'll be able to snag your shirsey once you get inside. If you're interested, we do have some of the replica jerseys left. They'll be at our kiosk in S-2XL while supplies last.

Even if you're not sitting with us, you're welcome to come by. More the merrier, so tell your friends. You're encouraged to bring your own grills, drinks, snacks... but make sure you CLEAN UP after yourselves. Nobody likes a mooch, so please don't go rummaging through coolers that don't belong to you. If you're feeling generous and you'd like to share, that's totally your call. Come prepared.

Even if you're shy, try to say hi. We're all friendly.

The game is at 1:10pm, but it is Opening Day, so prepare to head in around 12:15 so we're settled in our seats in time for the opening ceremony and National Anthem.

Mikkeller Brewery Opening at Citi Field

I stopped by really quick at Mikkeller Brewery and it had a pretty good crowd.
This place is going to be tight on game days with less then 200 seats in the bar/restaurant area. Hopefully it works out for them
