NEW YORK METS INTRODUCE NEW MOCKTAIL MENU

NEW YORK METS INTRODUCE NEW MOCKTAIL MENU

Mets offer popular new mocktail options and inclusive experience at Citi Field.

FLUSHING, N.Y., July 27, 2023 – The New York Mets today announced a new mocktail menu across Citi Field. The Mets have integrated mocktails into the menu options around the ballpark to create a more inclusive experience for fans.

Earlier this month, the Mets teamed up with the national non-alcoholic pop-up Absence of Proof to bring a fun four-day non-alcoholic experience, presented by Cadillac and Dunkin’, to Citi Field.

All net-proceeds from ticket sales for the Absence of Proof pop-up event were donated to the Amazin’ Mets Foundation to provide a $11,942 grant to Elmcor, a nonprofit based in Queens, New York. The grant will support Elmcor’s comprehensive behavioral health services for the community, including substance treatment programs.

“We are grateful so many of our Amazin’ fans came out to support Absence of Proof and Elmcor,” said Alex Cohen, Mets Owner & President of the Amazin’ Mets Foundation. “Everyone should feel welcome at Citi Field. Based on fan feedback from this fun pop-up, we are thrilled to now offer mocktails in locations throughout our ballpark."

The Mets have incorporated the Coca-Cola & non-alcoholic whiskey, Moscow mule, and espresso martini mocktails at bars in the DeltaSky 360 Club, Piazza 31 Club, Hudson Whiskey Club, Pat LaFrieda’s Chop House, Caesars Sportsbook at the Metropolitan Grille, Tullamore Dew Bar, and more. The Mets also offer non-alcoholic beer ballpark wide.

The introduction of the mocktail menu is just one of the many ways the Mets are creating a more inclusive experience at Citi Field. The organization is committed to exploring innovative ways to enhance accessibility and improve the fan experience at the ballpark. The Mets also recently hosted their second Disability Pride Night, a celebration of the many New Yorkers and Mets fans from around the world who are living with a disability, at Citi Field on Wednesday, July 19.
