MLB: The Cleveland "LOGO"

- If Cleveland wins the World Series, do people still flip out over the Wahoo logo? Do people become more vocal on it? Less vocal?

Is it racist? Is it relic best left in then past? Do they get rid of it and never mention it again which a lot of people like to do? Do they keep it as part of history, mention it to future generations and explain how people were upset by it and that it was a racial stereotype from a bygone era?

Let's see.....:

Mets: Granderson Charity Fundraiser

What is Grand Giving?
Grand Giving is an annual hunger relief campaign hosted by New York Mets Curtis Granderson and the Grand Kids Foundation.

The month-long initiative hosted each November in Granderson's hometown of Chicago & New York raises awareness and engagement through its affiliation with grocery partners via the "Check Out to Help Out" program and Night of Grand Giving Celebrity Fundraiser.

Curtis Granderson + Grand Kids
New York Mets All-Star Outfielder and Chicago native, Curtis Granderson, is considered one of the most philanthropic athletes
in professional sports. The three-time MLB All Star is the Founder of the Grand Kids Foundation (est. 2007), Spokesperson for
The White House’s Let’s Move anti-obesity campaign as well as the Partnership for a Healthier America’s Drink Up (H20) initiative,
and serves as a Major League Baseball International Ambassador.

In 2012, Granderson made an initial donation of $5 Million to his alma mater – The University of Illinois at Chicago – for the development of Curtis Granderson Stadium at UIC. The University, Major League Baseball and its partners contributed additional funds for the $15 Million project and state-of-the art facility, which serves Chicago’s inner-city youth. In this unrivaled partnership, Curtis and UIC are committed to bringing America’s favorite past time to 20,000+ kids annually in the City of Chicago by providing experiences that will
aid in their mental and physical development.

Each of these bobbleheads varies in the individual paint job.The bobblehead is in excellent new condition, but there is some slight wear to the box from storage and the interior styrofoam packaging is slightly broken. Yankees: Changes Coming to New Yankees Stadium

Have the Yankees just realized that they were being elitist and losing revenue from regular fans?

Still seems the Citi Field might have the advantage on NYS but I could be biased.

From LOHUD (read whole story here)

AT&T SPORTS LOUNGE featuring DirecTV service: The new AT&T Sports Lounge featuring DirecTV service at Section 134 on the Field Level will include a full bar with craft beers and cocktails. Tables, stools and large-screen televisions tuned to the Yankees broadcast and other live sporting events will provide a sports-bar atmosphere on the Stadium's main outdoor concourse in left field. Additionally, power/USB outlets will be available for charging phones or tablets.

(This is like a mix of Colorado and Citi Field. In Colorado the took at upper deck seats and put in the Rooftop section and in Citi Field you have the hang out/food section by Shake Shack)

BUDWEISER PARTY DECKS: The 300 Level of the Stadium will include Budweiser Party Decks at Sections 311 and 328, featuring shaded stand-alone bar areas serving beer, cocktails and food. Drink-rail and barstool seating will provide fans a relaxed and casual setting from which to enjoy sweeping views of the field and game action.

(So this is more like the bar areas in the 300's at Citi Field, sorta)

SUNRUN KIDS CLUBHOUSE: The Sunrun Kids Clubhouse will be Yankee Stadium's first-ever children's zone. Shaped like a mini-baseball field with a soft artificial surface, the 2,850-square-foot area will be located on the 300 Level in right field and will be outfitted with Yankees-themed playground equipment, including oversized baseballs, bases and baseball cards. The Sunrun Kids Clubhouse will be accessible to all Yankee Stadium Guests.

(This reminds me of the kids play area in Colorado)
