The start of the MLB Winter Meetings

First of all, who in the blue hell finishes naming the new coaching staff on a Sunday afternoon. Anyone else find this odd. Yeah I know that the organizations were heading to the meetings and wanted to get out the news. But this wasn’t done on Friday?
Anyway. The Winter Meetings where “stuff” happens. Do we as Mets fans think anything significant is going to happen through trades? I have a feeling the Santa Claus curse might be making a return after Nimmo tempted fate and played Santa two years in a row. If I were the Mets, I wouldn’t trade Nimmo. I feel like he’s just coming into his own and could be the “Next” David Wright. That’s just my feeling.

I’m really not that attached to Conforto. I don’t know if he’s going to be an injury prone player or not. I also feel he is very and I mean very streaky as a hitter.
Syndergaard. If the right hitter/catcher/outfield/pitcher/prospects combo can come back in a deal I’d be all in on trading him.
For the most part this off season has been really quiet. I won’t know what to do with myself if a lot of news comes in all at once.

But if I were you I would buy my QBC 2019 tickets so you can meet up with fellow fans and chat about the upcoming season. Keith Hernandez, Edgardo Alfonzo, Ed Kranepool will all be there doing panels and signings. Other panels like State of the Mets(good one to attend talking about where the Mets are in Jan), SNY is bringing The Shea Anything Podcast and Baseball Night NY. The Uni Panel hosted by Shannon from Metspolice. There will be Mascots, vendors, and some surprises
