Josh Lewin is leaving Mets Radio

This sucks. Josh was a great voice with the Mets. He and Howie Rose Meshed really well and it made the broadcasts fun. Especially during long blowouts it was enjoyable to listen to these two together.
From the N.Y. Post.
Josh Lewin is leaving the booth as the team moves its game broadcasts to WCBS-880 from WOR-710 AM beginning in the 2019 season. Meanwhile, Howie Rose, the lead play-by-play, has agreed to terms for a new deal and will return as the voice of the team.

Lewin is taking an unspecified new play-by-play position that he said would be better for his family.

"Earlier this week, I removed myself from consideration as part of the Mets’ radio team," Lewin told The Post. "Instead I will be accepting an offer away from New York, with details coming as soon as the contracts get signed."

Josh was also the host for the Mazzy Awards at the QBC which was also a lot fun. You can see the video here. We wish Josh best of luck on whatever his next job is.
QBC 2019 tickets go up for sale  this Friday(Black Friday) at 10 am on www.queensbaseballconvention.com
