@QBConvention 2018 Welcomes Roger Clark as _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Panel Host

The QBC Braintrust needed a host for the _ _ _ _  _ _ _  _ _ _ _  Panel. That's right. I am not telling you what panel it is yet. We needed someone quick on their feet. Someone who is comfortable being in front of crowds of people hanging on that person's performance. We needed someone who is easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable in that conversation. That person is NY1 personality and Mets fan Roger Clark. We couldn't think of anyone more fun and as good as an interviewer then Roger. This guy is a real pro and we at the QBC are very happy to have him as the host for this mystery panel which will be named in a a few weeks.

Buy your tickets at to see Chris Flexen, Brandon Nimmo, and Todd Hundley. Express Lane tickets have sold out and we are at last then half supply for the rest of the inventory.... Don't be left out.

Questions for Chris Flexen at @QBConventon 2018

As you all should know by now, I the Keith Blacknick AKA The Mediagoon, will be co-hosting the Chris Flexen panel alongside one of my best buddies. That buddy is the one, the only Dennis Holden. Dennis is the host of Dennis has a podcast and he has had two really big guests over the years. One was of course WWE Superstar Chris Jericho. The other was another superstar.... ME..... Dennis and I have really good chemistry together on the mics so the QBC Braintrust decided that the two of us should handle the duty....

Now I wanted to make the panel into Textin' with Flexen, but Dennis thinks it would be rude if I keep looking at my phone during the panel. I kind of agree but I do have an idea... Email me questions for Chris Flexen. Why not right? I want to make this panel as interactive as possible with the fans. Hit me up with your questions at We are going to have a really fun time on Jan 20th 2018 at Katch Astoria. Besides Flexen being there, Brandon Nimmo and Todd Hundley will also be doing panels. Also don't forget all three of them will be signing also. We have other panels happening and even more surprises popping up. Get your tickets at

Mets, Met Fans, and the Winter Meetings

The Winter Meetings are going on down at Disney World in Florida and it’s driving most Mets fans crazy. The Mets haven’t made any kind of moves (yet?), whether it be be a trade or a free agent signing and fans are getting so cranky over it.
“So and so went to Colorado and not to the Mets. The Mets can’t even compete with a team from Colorado.” Maybe that player just didn’t want to play in NY. It happens.

“The Mets should be trading for player A,B,C.” They should be but maybe they aren’t finding any trade partners that want Mets players.

“The Mets won’t expand their budget.” Okay you guys are right about this one.

What year did the Winter Meetings start setting fans off? I’m not going to get upset until we get closer to Spring Training because there is more then enough in this world that aggravates the hell out of me.

I’m not trying to be combative with anyone who is upset over this and I want to know what moves you think the Mets can make right now at the Meetings....

Shea Stadium Wall Panel

Each item comes with a Letter of
Authenticity from Mr
Shea Stadium dot com.
This bid is for one of the short walls from Shea
Stadiums infield.
These wall panels were all around the infield
from first
base, behind home plate to
third base. They were also down the left and right
field lines.
This wall panel is 40" tall x 19" wide and 3" thick. It is a half wall,
cut down from
the original 4 foot wide panels.
Since the 4 foot wide walls are too large to mail, we cut a few in
half so they can be
mailed! So rather then driving to pick up a wall from us, these short walls can
now be shipped via USPS! (Ball does not come with the wall,
just there to show the walls size)
Nice Shea Stadium item! Set up it in a Man Cave,
basement, kids room etc!

@QBConvention Special Giveaway

Every person who buys a ticket to the QBC, gets this Todd Hundley Rookie Card. "But I already bought my tickets! Do I get one?" YES YES YOU DO!!

Still waiting to buy your tickets? Don't! Tickets are going fast!

I'll be going to the game. Maybe I'll try it.
Collaborations are great, especially in today's market. It's not only smart for overall brand awareness, but it gets more eyeballs on the product. I, for one, have never heard of Thin Man Brewery, but now I have. And since I drink Mikkeller and trust their taste buds, Thin Man is automatically cool with me.
Since the Rangers are playing the Sabres, and they're from Buffalo, it just makes a lot of sense. Get two hometown beer brands involved and work together on something fun.
While the brewery at the ballpark isn't complete, they'll have a limited edition run for sale that you can take to go. If you're hitting the game, stop in to check the place out, and pick up a four-pack. Thin Man will also be releasing cans at their location on the same day. This is a one time thing, so if you're a collector, this will be your only chance to grab it.

Mets and the Winter Meetings

This is a perfect, perfect picture on my fronts for the Mets. The show like the Mets seem to spin it’s wheels a lot.

From MLB.Com
Mets: New York has been quiet since hiring manager Mickey Callaway, but the team has no shortage of needs coming off a disappointing 2017. A setup man for the bullpen appears to be high on the Mets' wish list, as well as a second baseman and a first base/outfield hybrid player.

Brandon Nimmo Talks Mets Outfield

The Mets hosted their annual Holiday party yesterday and the NY Post was able to talk to one of this years QBC guests Brandon Nimmo about where he will be playing in the field this upcoming season

From the NY Post-
“Among the other holes the Mets are looking to fill is an outfield/first base-type. Adding an outfielder on the roster could impact the future of Brandon Nimmo, who hit well in a regular role over the last seven weeks of the regular season.

“I felt like what I did last year in limited playing time, I proved I could play an everyday position in the major leagues,” Nimmo said. “Whether that position is open or not, I can’t control. A lot gets talked about in the offseason. We’ll have to wait til things go through. For me, I felt I did what I needed to do at the end of the year, but I understand this is a business.””

You guys have questions for Nimmo? Come to the Queens Baseball Convention on Jan 20th 2018 at Katch Astoria. For tickets go to

I have been apart of the T7LA since the beginning. If you want to try to be part of the season plan holders, here is your chance!

Our renewal process is over, and it's time to find new members! If you're an enthusiastic Mets fan who loves the group aspect and community of The 7 Line Army, we'd love to have ya.

Unfortunately, life has gotten in the way for some of our crew, and they had to back out of the season-long commitment. On the plus side, this opens up the opportunity for some new faces (and voices) in the crowd.

We have 88 seats to fill, and the lottery will be open until 5:00 PM ET on 12/11. We'll select 352 winners (that's 4X the available seats) that'll be given an access code to purchase the package through the Mets website. Each winner will then have the option to purchase up to four seats starting on 12/13 at 12:00 PM ET. It will be a first come, first serve sale until all available seats are secured.

Why 352 and not just 88? Not everyone who signs up will end up purchasing. Some people like the idea of "winning" the lottery, and then change their mind when it comes time to buy.

How much is it? $918 for the same seat to all of our 12 home games, and an authentic 2018 T7LA jersey customized with your name/number. We also run special discounts and offer perks throughout the year for our season ticket holders.

How do you join the lottery? Simply enter your email below and we'll do the rest. After the poll closes, we'll inform the winners. Good luck! LGM 2018!

Mets:Who Will Be The New Health Guru?

I didn't catch if anyone wrote about this or not from a couple of weeks ago. It was about time that they get rid of Ray Ramirez and try to figure out what was going on with the players health. Does any of this help? Who do they hire? How long of a leash does the new guy have?

From the NY POST
The Mets hired a new manager last month and constructed a new coaching staff around him, but maybe their biggest offseason change that doesn’t involve the roster is yet to come.In this era of analytics, the Mets will more closely monitor statistics of a different sort, with the hiring of a high performance director to oversee players’ health and institute policies throughout the minor league levels. According to assistant general manager John Ricco, the Mets are interviewing candidates for the position, as part of an overhaul to the medical staff.
The Mets can only hope the new structure will reverse the club’s fortunes with keeping players healthy. Last season, the Mets lost Noah Syndergaard, Michael Conforto, Jeurys Familia, Yoenis Cespedes, Matt Harvey and Steven Matz, among others, for extended stretches with various injuries. The team’s strength and conditioning coach, Mike Barwis, was retained, but the team decided to replace Ramirez as part of the restructuring.

Also don't forget to buy your tickets to the Queens Baseball Convention which takes place Jan 20th 2018. Chris Flexen, Brandon Nimmo, Todd Hundley will all be there. Tickets start at $50. At least one autograph included depending on the ticket being bought.
