Interesting move of Viola to Binghamton.
From the NY Post:
Frank Viola will become the new pitching coach at Double-A Binghamton, switching spots with Glenn Abbott , who will assume Viola’s role with Triple-A Las Vegas.
Tom Slater has been added to Callaway’s staff as the assistant hitting coach. Slater was formerly a hitting coach in the Yankees’ minor-league system.
