Mets: Mets FB Gets Chewed Out By Fans

Man some folks get livid over things. This was why when a few years ago Randy aka @readthepple and myself were giving the Mets ideas for skits for Star Wars Night we were told, "Guys we loved all the stuff you came up with but we can't have any "fun" during Star Wars Night because the fans would feel we didn't care about the losing streak we are on". It's Facebook. They are trying to put fresh content up.

Kenny Dugan Please stop posting this stuff from games we went on to lose in devastating fashion. Whoever runs the Mets fb page is essentially begging to be trolled. Duda's homerun from last night and $2.75 can get us on the subway.

Tom Wolstedlund Baseball is awash in useless stats. Exit velocity??? Who cares.....
All any Mets fan cares about is if it was a HR and more importantly DID THEY WIN........

Patrick Safuto WOW !!! He could have hit it double the distance they still lost. Once again thanks to one of the worst bullpens in all of organized baseball.

Pete Mullins Worst in-game coaching in baseball coupled with this level of talent = mediocrity at best. This will continue until major changes are made throughout the organization. They wanted to trade Conforto in the offseason, that's the kind of eye for talent these guys have.

Tom Molen Exit velocity?!? The team is a bunch of zombies. The manager needs to be fired. The bullpen is a mess. Alderson and Wilpons fiddle while Rome burns and we are talking about exit velocity. SMH

Matt Melnikoff But your bullpen blew another game, how many times will this happen. It's a joke and it's so frustrating. Sad thing is fans now are expecting these games to be blown, it's becoming routine

Bobby Joyce Nats, Rockies, Dodgers and DBacks only need to go 60-54 for 90 wins. Mets need to go 70-45........Seems like there will be alot of empty seats at Citi Field in the coming month or two. So sad. All the GM has to do is NOT sit on His Hands and we will be...See More

George Chabebe How the pitching coach Dan Warthen still has a job is beyond me, Sandy Alderson has to do something to shake things up and pitching has been the main issue, get rid of the pitching coach!!!!!

Ann G Smith Lets face it, the wheels have come off the cart ,and there is little Collins can do with the broken pieces left over. The RISP left on base, the bullpen that throws batting practice, unless TC is able to take the mound or swing a bat himself, not a heck of a lot can be done. I love my Mets, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of bright spots right now.

Kevin Karcher Everybody talks about the Manager and GM, what about the training staff? This team spends a fortune on players who can't stay baseball healthy every year for the last decade! Not just the Mets all throughout baseball.

Brian Nelson Met fans are the worst, all you do is bellyache and don't appreciate the positives your team does, you focus on the bad.The players are the ones that live and die by the outcome of the games, all you can be is be supportive. This is real for them,it's entertainment for you. You are awful

David Wolf Nothing compared to the exit velocity of my turning the channel as soon as that final hit landed and the launch angle of my shouting when the game was blown in the ninth. Check with statcast. It's Amazin'.

Scott Lawrence At this point, does it really matter? The team is steadily losing ground to the Nats. The bullpen is overworked but Duda's homerun distance is important?

Bobby Joyce Mets Trade Jose Reyes OR Asdrubal Cabrera and Josh Smoker to the Pirates for Wade LeBlanc. Jordy Mercer isn't a good SS option. Rosario has earned the callup. Reynolds also plays Shortstop. Wilmer Flores OR Lucas Duda, Montero and Robles for Tommy Kahn...See More

Michael Pandazis I think it's a simple physics problem how to figure out how far the ball travels because knowing it's exit speed and launch angle and that the only forces acting on the baseball in flight is gravity and perhaps air resistance you could project its trajectory.
